Collect Silver Bottle Caps & Win With Coca-Cola Bahamas!

Some of Coca-Cola Bahamas' classic beverages will be sporting all new silver bottle caps this summer. And, customers who collect them will have the chance to win prizes courtesy of the Caribbean Bottling Company (Bahamas) Ltd (CBC). Throughout the duration of the promotion, CBC will also be partnering with WasteNot Bahamas Ltd. to facilitate the collection of empty plastic beverage bottles, to be recycled.

"Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola No Sugar, Diet Coke, Minute Maid Fruit Coolers, Sprite and Bahamas Goombay Punch will all be sporting new limited edition silver bottle caps, just in time for summer!" noted Gabriella Suighi, CBC Activations Manager. "And, who doesn't love to win prizes? Our team will be on the move, this June and July, and will be visiting several different islands, around the country."

Starting June 1, customers will be able to collect the caps for a chance to win various prizes, including domino sets, beach chairs, cooler bags, and Coca-Cola Bahamas glasses. Those who donate silver caps at select redemption events, will also be eligible to enter to win Samsung S20 smartphones.

The silver bottle caps can be redeemed each week at pop up events in New Providence and Grand Bahama between June 23 to July 16. The Coca-Cola Silver Caps team will also be visiting several family islands to host redemption events. Long Island, Abaco, and Eleuthera residents can look forward to visits during the week of July 19.

Suighi added that the promotion will be able to award customers with prizes, while also offering them an opportunity to turn in their empty bottles for recycling. "We are extremely happy to continue our recycling efforts with the WasteNot team, and hope that the silver caps promotion can raise awareness about recycling opportunities, in The Bahamas."

Empty plastic bottles can be dropped off at silver bottle cap redemption events, for recycling, or deposited at WasteNot Bahamas' collection bins located at the New Providence Community Church on Blake Road, Saint Andrews School on Yamacraw Road and Ardastra Gardens on Chippingham Road.

CBC has been a long term partner of WasteNot, as well as its sister group, Cans4Kids, which facilitates aluminum can collection with local schools.

"Over the years, we have been dedicated to supporting community and environment groups that aim to positively impact change around the country." noted Nikia Wells, CBC Communications Marketing Manager. "Not only are we proud to support the ongoing day to day efforts of WasteNot and Cans4kids, we want to help engage communities to raise awareness about environmental preservation projects."

Beverages that will feature the silver bottle caps include Coca-Cola (20 oz, 1 Litre & 2 Litre), Coca-Cola No Sugar (20 oz), Diet Coke (20oz), all Minute Maid Fruit Coolers flavors (20 oz & 2 Litre), Sprite (20oz & 2 Litre) and Bahamas Goombay Punch (20 oz, 1 Litre and 2 Litre).
