Gloria Laing Wins Coca-Cola Ultimate Domestic Tourist Vacation Sweepstakes

Gloria Laing will be enjoying an Ultimate Domestic Tourist Vacation, on the island of her choosing, simply for purchasing a 6-pack of her favorite Coca-Cola beverage. The Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC) awarded Laing $500 cash, plus hotel and airfare, to visit any island in the Bahamas. Her winning receipt was chosen via random raffle draw, and the Solomon’s Yamacraw shopper was extremely surprised and excited when she was contacted by the CBC Team to inform her about her win.

When asked which island she will be visiting, Laing admitted she was overjoyed by the win, but was finding it extremely difficult to choose which Bahamian island to head to. “It’s just so many options” Laing noted. “I heard Exuma is beautiful, but I was thinking about Eleuthera, as well.”

The Ultimate Domestic Tourist Vacation Sweepstakes ran throughout the holiday season and was accompanied by a series of samplings that allowed shoppers to collect Bahamian Icon glasses, reusable shopping bags and can koozies.

“We really wanted to celebrate Bahamian pride” said Nikia Wells, CBC Communications Marketing Manager. “In addition to giving out complimentary collectibles that featured iconic scenes, from around the Bahamas, we wanted to gift a lucky shopper with a trip that would allow them to truly embrace the stunning beauty of the Bahamas.”

CBC has a number of events, activations and promotions that will continue their celebration of Bahamian culture, throughout 2020.
