Sales Supervisor

The Sales Supervisor will support management in overseeing the daily duties of the Sales Team.
Assist in coordinating all sales-related activities, including but not limited to:
- Lead daily team huddle with sales drivers and assistants
- Oversee daily route truck loading/check-out process
- Ensure adequate product and all necessary equipment are loaded onto the trucks
- Conduct daily vehicle checks for all drivers and merchandisers (i.e. ensuring vehicles are clean, checking for damages, etc.)
- Monitor sales drivers in their daily tasks to ensure the achievement of sales objectives and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Conduct daily review of deliveries by route and assess orders not delivered (Cut by Driver) and ensure prompt execution of those sales
- Reassign orders to the correct routes as necessary
- Review and address ICE findings, as directed by the Sales Manager
- Assist with executing Sales strategic plans, as directed by the Sales Manager
- Pre-sell to assigned customers
- Identify appropriate business targets in view of generating sales opportunities
- Execute sales techniques to achieve individual Sales Goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Maintain strong customer relationships
- Handle customer issues to resolution and escalate issues as necessary to the Sales Manager
- Communicate all employee relations issues, concerns and incidents to Sales Manager
- Perpetually educate our valued customers regarding Total-Product-Management
- Assist with new product launches and price change communications
- Prepare reports as required
- Perform any other duties as requested by Management
Education/Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Sales
- Previous experience in a Retail, Warehouse or similar environment, preferred
- Sales certification, a plus

- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a passion for challenging, empowering, and driving team results
- Ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with people through strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Fundamental understanding of sales and distribution in the local environment
- Sound knowledge of the fast-moving consumer goods industry
- High-level proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Ability to lift 30lbs. or more
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays as necessary
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive standard shift, a plus

- Awareness of Integrated Management System:
- IMS Policy and Objectives
- Training in applicable Work Procedures: Quality, Food Safety and GMPs
- Total-Product-Management
- Understanding of job-specific risks and operational controls to achieve risk reduction and sustainable performance
