Must be familiar with, understand and be able to operate equipment assigned to them, observe the Company’s Good Manufacturing Practices and work to achieve policies, procedures and objectives set out by company.
Task & Responsibilities
Control operation of equipment
Observe equipment to ensure quality and conformity of product to standards
Stop or reset machine when malfunctions occur, report malfunction to Supervisor
Perform machine changeover to appropriate size
Ensure that all required materials are in place
Clean and sanitize equipment
Perform preventative maintenance
Maintain records
Must stay at work until batch is completed
Identify recommendations to contribute to risk reduction and sustainable performance
Perform other duties as assigned.
Competency
Education/Experience
High School Diploma and/or 3 years Experience in Manufacturing
BGCSE’s including Math and English
Skills
Machine Operating skills for Assigned Equipment
Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word and Route Center)
Training
Government Food Handlers Certificate
Relevant KORE Requirements and Company Procedures
Awareness of Integrated Management System:
IMS Policy and Objectives
Training in applicable Work Procedures: Quality, Food Safety and GMPs
Understanding of job-specific risks and operational controls to achieve risk reduction and sustainable performance
Understanding of consequences for departure from operational controls
