The Primary responsibility of the Assistant Salesman is to assist Salesman with effectively and efficiently servicing our customers
Task & Responsibilities
Bring all customer and/or product related issues to the attention of the Salesman
Assist Salesman with executing initial merchandising of shelves and other retail components
Perpetually execute FEFO (First Expired, First Out)
Ensure that the sales truck is properly stocked daily
Ensure cleanliness of sales trucks on a daily basis
Ensure all products have proper labeling for inspection by checkers
Required Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
High School Diploma
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in grocery, retail or related field.
Basic computer skills.
Valid driver's license. (Ability to drive standard shift vehicle)
Must pass background check.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to bend, kneel, and climb
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Frequent bending and twisting in performance of job functions.
Ability to handle exposure to all temperature changes, high noise levels, and safely working around moving equipment.
