Account Manager

The Account Manager will be responsible for creating & maintaining customer relationships and achieving business objectives, such as increased sales, expanded distribution, brand priorities, market share growth, etc., within their assigned customer base.
- Conduct visits to all assigned accounts weekly or as prescribed, with a focus on building strong, lasting relationships, executing beverage campaigns, maximizing brand growth and obtaining specific volume objectives, striving to ensure customers carry a minimum number of products from the CBC portfolio
- Introduce and market newly established beverages within Caribbean Bottling Company’s portfolio
- Achieve annual sales growth targets and monthly KPIs for assigned portfolio
- Solicit a target number of new accounts within assigned territory
- Solicit cooler placement in all eligible accounts
- Receive and submit customer orders using handheld tablet and follow-through to ensure delivery
- Improve overall customer satisfaction in assigned customer accounts by:
- Ensuring the sales team consistently meets expectations for service and communicating with management
- Ensuring all outlets have the appropriate “Look of Success”
- Ensuring company merchandising standards are met, including price and campaign communication, rack placement, etc.
- Ensure CBC’s cooler standards are maintained where coolers are present
- Addressing any customers concerns or complaints by referring the complaints or concerns to the relevant person or department (e.g. Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, etc.) and following up to ensure resolution
- Communicate all pricing, product, and promotion information to accounts on weekly/monthly basis
- Communicate any branding/marketing opportunities to the Marketing Department
- Track all activities and consistently submit activity reports to supervisor including KPI progress and account visits
- Stay informed of customer and consumer trends and collaborate with management to develop programs to capitalize on such trends
- Assist in maintaining health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements according to company and regulatory policies
- Any other duties as assigned by Management
Education/Experience
- Certification in Sales from a recognized institution OR
- High School Diploma with a minimum of five (5) BGCSE’s including Math, English
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Sales, Account Management or related field
Skills/Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong ability to build and maintain deep client relationships
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to work without supervision
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, & Outlook
- Valid driver’s license
- Relevant KORE Requirements and Company Procedures
- KO Trade Marketing Guidelines
- Awareness of Integrated Management System (IMS) Policy and Objectives
- Training in applicable Work Procedures: Quality, Food Safety and GMPs
- Understanding of job-specific risks and operational controls
