The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all production equipment is functioning properly and working efficiently to achieve optimum quality and quantity in the production process.  This includes performing preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, projects and installation work on all plant electrical, instrumentation and electronic equipment.

• Maintain the plant and all production equipment
• Perform all mechanical maintenance and repairs to equipment such as belt tension, alignment, and replacement of worn bearings and parts
• Repair damaged electrical cables, components and pneumatic lines
• Utilize measuring and assessment tools to diagnose and rectify electrical system faults
• Follow and perform the daily maintenance schedule and preventative maintenance program
• Perform the necessary lock out and tag out when performing repairs
• Identify recommendations to contribute to risk reduction and sustainable performance
• Any other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 1-2 years' experience in a related field
• Experience in a production environment (a plus)
