Warehouse Inventory Clerk

Functions

Assist the Warehouse Department with accurate inventory counting and reporting and any other duties as requested from by the Warehouse Manager.

Task & Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing inventory for both Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC) and Caribbean Wines & Spirits (CWS)
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure all orders can be completely filled
  • Conduct daily counts and prepare related reports
  • Check and verify invoices in the system and ensure they are properly signed
  • Finalize Warehouse invoices for items shipped
  • Ensure adherence to FEFO in fulfilling all requests
  • Prepare FEFO log for auditing
  • Prepare weekly Expiration Report and daily OOS Report for distribution to management
  • Maintain accurate records of items shipped
  • Assist in maintaining health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements according to company and regulatory policies
  • Identify recommendations to contribute to risk reduction and sustainable performance 

Competancy:

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • BGCSE’s including Math and English
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar role

Desired Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong mathematical proficiency
  • Strong proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Training:

  • Relevant KORE Requirements and Company Procedures
  • Use of Route Center software application 
  • Training in applicable Work Procedures: Quality, Food Safety and GMPs
  • Health Safety and Environment Awareness Training
  • Understanding of job-specific risks and operational controls to achieve risk reduction and sustainable performance 
  • Understanding of consequences for departure from operational controls
