Truck Driver

The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely transportation of CBC products between company facilities and customer locations. This position bridges Warehouse and Route Operations, ensuring smooth logistics flow across CBC’s network.
Truck Drivers deliver customer orders generated through Pre-Seller input in the system, transfer stock between depots (including Freeport and other CBC facilities), and support warehouse operations as needed.

Route Operations
- Deliver customer orders based on Pre-Seller orders entered in the sales system.
- Deliver products to ports for shipment to Family Islands and the U.S.
- Deliver BIB crates and CO2 tanks to customers and collect empty tanks/crates, returning them to the appropriate department upon arrival back at the plant.
- Conduct physical check and verification that product matches delivery documents before departure.
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage and ensure road safety compliance.
- Obtain signed Proof of Delivery (POD) for every order, deliver final invoice to customers and submit documentation daily.
- Collect returnables (crates, CO₂ tanks, BIBs) when applicable, ensuring proper reconciliation.
- Maintain constant communication with the Dispatch Supervisor and Pre-Seller team to coordinate delivery schedules or resolve discrepancies.
- Execute basic merchandising duties when required (e.g., stocking coolers, rotating products, arranging displays).
- Represent CBC professionally at all times with customers, maintaining a positive and service-oriented attitude.
- Warehouse
- Transport finished goods between CBC warehouses, ports, and depots.
- Ensure accurate loading and unloading of shipments between facilities
- Support warehouse staff during loading operations and verify that pallets or crates are secured and match pick tickets
- Deliver and collect documents, materials, or other assets required by the Warehouse
- Maintain effective communication with Warehouse personnel regarding dispatch priorities and scheduling
- Assist with warehouse housekeeping and other tasks when not in route
- Vehicle & Compliance
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure assigned truck cleanliness and readiness
- Assist in maintaining health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements according to company and regulatory policies
- Accurately complete required forms, logs, and reports
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Education/Experience/Other Requirements
- High School Diploma
- BGCSEs including Math & English
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in driving commercial trucks in logistics, warehouse, or FMCG distribution
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

- Ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of basic merchandising standards and warehouse logistics processes
- Safety-conscious, dependable, and adaptable to multiple operational roles
- Familiarity with POD systems and payment collection procedures (manual or digital)
- Basic knowledge of merchandising standards (cooler stocking, product rotation, shelf presentation)
- Customer service orientation with ability to represent the company positively during deliveries
- Ability to drive standard shift, a plus
- Familiarity with port procedures, a plus
- Ability to lift, push and pull 30lbs. or more
