Transportation of containers to and from ports in a safe and timely manner.Ability to complete assignments within the required time frame, and in full compliance with safetyprocedures established by the company.
Task & Responsibilities
Delivery and return of containers between production plant and ports.
Disposal, as necessary, of production waste water to sewage recycling plants.
Disposal ofwooden pallets to designated recycling plants.
Relocation of containers at ramps in production and warehouse areas.
Ensuring containers are secured when placed at ramps.
Operate forklifts to load and offload cargo from containers.
Assist Warehouse Department, when necessary, with product delivery to customers.
Adherence to proper safety procedures in trailer head and forklift operations.
Identify recommendations to contribute to risk reduction and sustainable performance
Competancy:
Education/Experience
5 years experience Trailer operations
1 year ExperiencePractical Forklift Operation
High School Diploma
A valid Driver’s License
Skills
Competency in trailer head and forklift operations.
Ability to work with time constraints.
Training:
Relevant KORE Requirements and Company Procedures
Awareness of Integrated Management System: oIMS Policy and Objectives oTraining in applicable Work Procedures: Quality, Food Safety and GMPs
Understanding of job-specific risks and operational controls to achieve risk reduction andsustainable performance
