Task & Responsibilities
Performrepairs,routine, emergency and preventative maintenanceon forklifts
Troubleshoot forklift problems to include brake, electrical and hydraulic systems, detectimperfections, potential problems, safety issues and/or malfunctions
Perform safety inspection of forklifts prior to being released back to the work floor
Competancy:
Education/Experience
High school Diploma
A minimum of1-yearexperience inengine maintenance and repairs
Skills/Requirements
3-5 years’experience inforkliftrepairsor a related mechanic field
Ability to troubleshoot and analyze problems
Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
Ability to perform repairs in a timely manner
Ability to manage time wisely
Ability to remain productive without supervision
Training:
Relevant KORE Requirements and Company Procedures
Awareness of Integrated Management System
IMS Policy and Objectives
Training in applicable Work Procedures: Quality, Food Safety and GMPs
Understanding of job-specific risks and operational controls to achieve risk reduction and sustainable performance
Understanding of consequences for departure from operational controls
