Lesly St. Fleur to host first Beach Soccer Clinic with Powerade


May 2017 Lesly St. Fleur and Team Bahamas brought great pride to the Bahamas as the country made its first ever appearance in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. St. Fleur one of the team’s leading scorer during the tournament has partnered with his endorser, Powerade, to host his first Beach Soccer Clinic. The Clinic will be held on July 15th, from 11AM – 1PM at the National Beach Soccer Stadium, and is FREE to the public with registration.

“I am so proud to be able to give back to my community in this way,” explains Lesly St. Fleur. “The Bahamas Football Association, has worked to develop the sport of Beach Soccer here in the Bahamas, and this is just may way of encouraging that effort. I must also thank my corporate partner, Powerade and Caribbean Bottling Company for supporting me in hosting this clinic, without their continued support this would not be possible.”

“Back in April when we first met with Lesly to discuss his endorsement, we wanted to host a clinic to help the youth get a deeper appreciation for the sport,” says Cara Douglas Marketing Manager, Caribbean Bottling Company. “But Lesly’s unwavering commitment to the sport and developing the youth to grow the game here in The Bahamas has truly been inspiring. We are proud to sponsor this event hosted by Lesly, and hope to continue to support his efforts.”

The one-day clinic is free to the public for all youth ages 12 – 17. Space is limited and all participants must register on or before July 14th by emailing either Cara Douglas (cdouglas@cbcbahamas.com) or Karla Wells-Lisgaris (kwells-lisgaris@cbcbahamas.com).
