The Caribbean Bottling Company will return as a Yellow Jersey sponsor of the 2018 Ride For Hope race weekend, taking place on Mar. 10 in Eleuthera. The annual cycling event has raised over $3 million for cancer research, care, and treatment since its inception over a decade ago. The Caribbean Bottling team is proud to support such a worthy cause and looks forward to hydrating riders with Powerade and Dasani beverages.

“We are so pleased to have the Caribbean Bottling Company as a Yellow Jersey corporate sponsor again this year” noted Ride For Home organizer, Karen Eldon. “Not only does their sponsorship go towards underwriting event costs so that 100 percent of funds raised by participants goes to programs supported by Ride for Hope, but their generosity also ensures that our participants will, once again, be kept hydrated and refreshed with Powerade and Dasani products throughout the day.”

Every dollar raised by Ride For Hope participants will fund programs created to assist Bahamians in the fight against cancer via education, testing, early screening, research and direct financial assistance.

“The CBC team is proud to return as a sponsor for the Ride For Hope race weekend,” noted Nikia Wells, Marketing Manager- Communications. “This organization helps to fund vital research and assists cancer fighters, every year. We believe in the work that they do and their continuous efforts to battle cancer and find cures, internationally.

Ride for Hope will take place in Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera on Mar. 10. For more information on the race and about the Ride For Hope organization, please visit www.rideforhopebahamas.com.
