Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC), local producer of Coca-Cola, has always strived to be ever present in the community through donations, and participation. This year is no different as CBC announces its continued support of the National Family Island Regatta. CBC has also made donations to the St. Valentine’s Day Regatta thus far for the year.

“Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC), has been a long standing sponsor and partner with the National Family Island Regatta. This year we are celebrating 64 years of unbroken sloop sailing in George Town, Exuma and we are once again grateful for CBC’s continued support of this great cultural tradition” proclaimed Danny Strachan – Chairman and Commodore of the National Family Island Regatta organizing committee. “CBC has an excellent reputation as a good corporate citizen not only in New Providence, but throughout the Bahamas.  They are helping us keep a priceless cultural tradition alive for future generations and we encourage other corporate citizens to follow CBC’s lead in helping us to build our communities through its sponsorship policies.”

“Regattas are fundamentally Bahamian, and as good corporate citizens we attempt to extend support to events/activities that support our Bahamian culture,” said Cara Douglas – Marketing Manager CBC. “Also to Mr. Strachan’s point we work to ensure we align ourselves through sponsorships with cultural events and activities that lead to community development, both culturally, and economically.”

CBC supports the event again this year not just with a financial donation, but also by providing Dasani water and t-shirts for all of the sailors.
