On March 7th 2017, Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC), the local producers of Coca-Cola, announced that Coca-Cola would remain the only National Sponsor of the 2017 IAAF World Relays. This marked the third time that Coca-Cola sponsored the event as a National Sponsor here in The Bahamas.
“We are very pleased to have Coca-Cola return as a National Sponsor for the third consecutive event,” says Keith Parker, Chairman of the IAAF World Relays Local Organizing Committee. “They are one of the most popular beverage brands in the world, and certainly here in The Bahamas. We look forward to them providing beverages for the attendees during the 2017 IAAF World Relays.”

“This is the third time our archipelago will host the illustrious IAAF World Relays,” said Cara Douglas, Marketing Manager Caribbean Bottling Company. “and for the third consecutive time Coca-Cola will proudly be a National Sponsor. We are also excited to announce that we will be donating water to Team Bahamas as they practice and prepare for their races. Go Team Bahamas!”

Throughout the IAAF World Relay weekend, April 22nd – 23rd Dasani water, Powerade, and Coca-Cola will hydrate all athletes, and fans across the National Stadium complex.
