The Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC) is proud to support Grand Bahama athletics, by providing team uniforms for the mini-league players taking part in the 2018 YMCA Soccer League Tournament.

A number of volunteers and coaches will host a series of soccer clinics and pre-game sessions for the young athletes, with over 150 players taking part in the overall tournament.

“We are delighted to support the YMCA and their ongoing mission to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for young Grand Bahamians,” said Nikia Wells – CBC Marketing Manager of Communications. “The CBC team is committed to supporting community and sporting initiatives that aim to develop the talents and positive interests of young Bahamians.”

The YMCA hosts a number of after-school, sporting and community programs, each year. These programs relay heavily on corporate support.

“On behalf of the YMCA's Board of Directors, staff and the children of Grand Bahama we wish to thank Caribbean Bottling, Coca Cola, for their continued support.  Every year young players are outfitted in complete soccer uniforms and awarded participant trophies.  This has been made possible because of the commitment of companies like Coca Cola.” Karon Pinder- Johnson, Executive Director YMCA Bahamas
