Bahamas Masqueraders are Coca-Cola Red!

Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC), local producer of Coca-Cola, formalizing sponsorship of Bahamas Masqueraders for the 2nd year.

Picture (L-R):  Mr. Anton Dean – principal Bahamas Masqueraders; Cara Douglas – Marketing Manager CBC; Dr. Beverton Moxey – principal Bahamas Masqueraders, surrounded by the beautiful Bahamas Masqueraders’ costume models.

In 2015 Bahamas Masqueraders, a registered Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival Road Fever Group, performed exceptionally well during Road Fever, showing first time carnival goers, and lifetime carnival fans alike a fantastic “road experience” for the first time in the Bahamas. Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC), the local producer of Coca-Cola products, jumped in the line with the group then, and will be jumping with them all down Nassau St again this year on Saturday May 7th.

“The Bahamas Masqueraders is extremely pleased to have CBC, Coca-Cola, as a corporate sponsor for the second Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival Festival,” says Coralie Adderley – Bahamas Masqueraders. “It is through the sponsorship of partners such as Coca-Cola that we were able to realize the historic win of the inaugural Road Fever parade in 2015. We look forward to an exciting and meaningful partnership with them for many years to come.”

“Bahamas Masqueraders is a huge operation, providing employment and a learning opportunity for a diverse group of persons. From costume designers, to customer service reps, to social media, and marketing teams this single group has positively impacted our community,” explains Cara Douglas – Marketing Manager at CBC. “Each of the carnival groups has had an impact on our community, and we are proud to be able to partner with, and support the Masqueraders. Make sure you get your “Coca-Cola Red Bays” costume today – special price of $190!”

The partnership includes a cash donation, a significant product donation, and “carnival survival” items. Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival - Road Fever March will take place on Saturday May 7th. CBC is proud to say that while they have only officially partnered with Bahamas Masqueraders, a number of groups will be hydrating their participants with complimentary Powerade from CBC.
